New episodes of freshman sensation GOSSIP GIRL return to The CW schedule beginning Monday, April 21 (8:00-9:00p.m. ET). On April 7, ONE TREE HILL moves to its new night and time on Mondays (9:00-10:00p.m. ET), following GOSSIP GIRL and creating a powerful night of drama for The CW.

With ONE TREE HILL moving to Mondays in April, the climactic final original episodes of PUSSYCAT DOLLS PRESENTS: GIRLICIOUS will air on Wednesdays starting April 9 (9:00-10:00p.m. ET), following AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL.

Through the month of March, original episodes of The CW’s REAPER will follow all-new episodes of SMALLVILLE. On March 25, REAPER returns to Tuesdays (9:00-10:00p.m. ET) following the newest edition of The CW’s hit reality series BEAUTY AND THE GEEK, which premieres March 11 (8:00-9:00p.m. ET).

SUPERNATURAL returns to The CW’s Thursday line-up (9:00-10:00p.m. ET) on April 3.

With new episodes of EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS (8:00-8:30p.m. ET) and ALIENS IN AMERICA (8:30-9:00p.m. ET) currently airing on Sundays, original episodes of THE GAME return to The CW’s comedy block in its new time period beginning Sunday, March 23 (9:00-9:30p.m. ET).

The network’s most popular series, AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL will return with mega-star Tyra Banks for cycles 11 and 12. Returning dramas include the buzz-worthy freshman hit GOSSIP GIRL and ONE TREE HILL, returning for a sixth season. These three series are the top-ranked shows on television with a concentration of women 18-34 viewers.

Also renewed were the long-running Thursday night team of SMALLVILLE, which will begin its eighth season, and SUPERNATURAL, which will begin its fourth season. In addition, the critically acclaimed comedy EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS will return for season four.

The CW’s Crowned: The Mother of All Pageants has come to an end, and at the end of a shocking finale, Moya, a 51-year-old from Hesperia, CA with no previous pageant experience, and Jenileigh, a 25-year-old 2006 Miss Wyoming winner from Las Vegas, NV, were awarded the grand prize. By defeating their opponents, the team took home the grand prize of custom-made diamond necklaces, a pair of tiaras, and $100,000.

Actor Jack Wagner hosted the final pageant, which pitted remaining teams “Dream Gals,” “Sincere Sexy Reds,” “Gifted Dolls,” and the “Daredevil Divas” against one another in competitions including swimsuit, talent, evening gown, and interview.

During the pageant, “Gifted Dolls” mom Rachelle fell dizzy and required attention from medical staff, but was able to recover and resume the competition.

Midway through the competition, judges Carson Kressley, Shanna Moakler, and Cynthia Garrett announced a surprise de-sashing ceremony, and the trailing “Sincere Sexy Reds” were eliminated from the pageant.

For their talent, the “Daredevil Divas” performed an aerial act, drawing on daughter Jenileigh’s experience to achieve a near-perfect score for the round.

For the interview portion of the competition, the teams were asked how they would use the prize money, and it was their sincerity in this round that helped the “Daredevil Divas” win victory.

Tyra Banks’ hit reality series AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL takes a look back at the show’s most inspiring, touching and funny moments with two one-hour specials featuring clips from the first nine cycles and commentary from past participants. TOP MODEL EXPOSED, PART I airs Wednesday, February 6 (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) and TOP MODEL EXPOSED, PART II airs Wednesday, February 13 (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET).

In addition to favorite clips from cycles one through nine, the specials include “best-of” segments on such topics as “Runaway Runway,” “Makeover Madness,” “Miss J – What a Man!” and “Medical Mayhem,” which highlights some of the more spectacular spills contestants have taken. Also included are new interviews with past winners and runners-up, including Camille from cycle two; Eva, Tocarra and Amanda from cycle three; Cassandra and Bre from cycle five; Joanie from cycle six; Jael and Dionne from cycle eight, and Heather and Bianca from cycle nine. During this cycle, the 14 participants live together and ferociously vie for the grand prize, competing in a highly accelerated modeling boot camp. The participants’ abilities are tested each week as they strive to master the runway and fashion photo shoots, perfect publicity skills and learn the business aspects of becoming a supermodel, all under 24-hour-a-day surveillance of the AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL cameras. Throughout the series, supermodel Tyra Banks, art director of photo shoots Jay Manuel, and runway guru J. Alexander mentor the participants.

Banks leads the panel of AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL judges, comprised of leading fashion industry experts. Joining the panel this cycle is supermodel Paulina Porizkova, along with returning judges photographer Nigel Barker and runway expert J. Alexander, who closely evaluate the progress of the models to narrow the field each week. In addition, special guest judges appear to critique the participants within his or her area of expertise.

The winner of The CW’s AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL will be managed by Elite Model Management. She also receives a $100,000 contract with cosmetics giant CoverGirl. Finally, the winner will appear on the cover and six-page fashion spread in Seventeen magazine.

Inside the magazine, she discusses what it feels like to be AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL, and talks about the thrill of modeling. “I love to be fabulous and feel all cute, and I love to dress up. Now I always have my hair and makeup done, and I get to dress in all these fancy, expensive designer clothes — that’s every little girl’s dream. It feels great. I love it! I wish I could sleep like that,” she says.

Saleisha also talks about her childhood, She says, “My grandma basically raised me. I lived with her until I was like 17. We have a great relationship and I respect her, but at the same time I really, really wanted that perfect family — with the white picket fence and the soccer van. My parents had me really young; my Dad was 17; and my mom was 16. So it was hard for them.”

The cover and six-page fashion spread in Seventeen magazine is awarded to the winner of The CW’s AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL, along with a management contract with Elite Model Management, and $100,000 contract with cosmetics giant CoverGirl.

Saleisha Stowers, a receptionist from Los Angeles, was crowned the winner of the ninth cycle of The CW’s hit reality series AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL.

The three remaining models participated in a CoverGirl Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers commercial and print ad.  Cycle eight winner, Jaslene, surprised the girls for moral support and coaching during this important stage of the competition before the girls headed back for the penultimate elimination. While the judging panel had critiques for each of the girls’ performances, they were impressed by how Saleisha portrayed herself.  “Saleisha, I feel, is CoverGirl when it comes to who she is, what she stands for and how she portrays herself,” Tyra said. The judges decided that while Jenah took amazing photos, her strong personality made her unapproachable and ultimately led to her elimination from the competition.

The next day, Saleisha and Chantal met with Seventeen magazine editor-in-chief Ann Shoket for their cover photo shoot. Emotions ran high as both finalists realized their dreams were within their grasp.

The following day, Saleisha and Chantal faced off on in a Royal Fashion Show located outside of the Forbidden City. The girls passed through 500 extras and entertainers on stilts representing the past as they portrayed fashion of the future. “This is my destiny. I’m going to go out there and do it,” Saleisha exclaimed before hitting the runway.  While both girls impressed the judges, Saleisha presented herself as the more seasoned runway model.

During the final judging panel, the judges considered the runway challenge, as well as each girl’s performance throughout the competition.  While the judges agreed that both Saleisha and Chantal were strong contenders, Saleisha’s growth and perseverance gave her the edge. “When I was younger… I had low self-esteem and I just wasn’t happy with my life. I have grown into a strong young woman and I’m so happy with myself right now and the place that I am at,” Saleisha said after Tyra announced that she had become AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL.

In addition to a $100,000 contract with cosmetics giant CoverGirl, this year’s prize package for the winner of The CW’s AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL will include a contract with Elite Model Management and a cover and six-page fashion spread in Seventeen magazine.
