New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg Visits Set
(January 26, 2012) — Spotted, in taxis all over New York City: Gossip Girl series stars Blake Lively, Ed Westwick and Kelly Rutherford, along with executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. The landmark 100th episode of the stylish, trend-setting drama series airs Monday, January 30, at 8/7c on The CW, and to celebrate reaching this milestone in a series shot in New York, the cast and producers appear in a “Made in NY” video currently running in taxicabs throughout the Big Apple.

Today, Gossip Girl welcomed New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and Media & Entertainment Commissioner Katherine Oliver to the show’s New York set, to issue a proclamation and commemorate the impact the production has had on the local New York economy.
