“ONE TREE HILL” AND THE USO TEAM UP TO OFFER MARINES AND VIEWERS A UNIQUE CONCERT EXPERIENCE, “USOTH,” ON SEPTEMBER 19 IN JACKSONVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA

Burbank, CA (September 15, 2008) ─ ONE TREE HILL and The USO have joined forces to offer Marines and ONE TREE HILL fans a unique “USOTH” concert experience.  The CW’s hit drama series will film a live concert featuring Angels & Airwaves, with military personnel in attendance at the Marine Corps Air Station New River in Jacksonville, North Carolina on Friday, September 19.

In a case of life imitating art, the ONE TREE HILL/USO concert will be integrated into a storyline on the November 10 episode in which Peyton (Hilarie Burton), owner of her own record label, produces a USO concert at a Marine base where her brother is stationed.  ONE TREE HILL cast members will be in attendance, and anyone with a military I.D. is invited to attend the concert.

Alternative rock group Angels & Airwaves, ONE TREE HILL star Bethany Joy Galeotti, featuring Enation, and ONE TREE HILL recurring guest star Kate Voegele, currently on a nationwide University of Phoenix Tour, are the featured performers of “USOTH.”

“Our best days at ONE TREE HILL are days when we can give back, so we’re thrilled to be able to bring a night of great music and entertainment to the Marine Corps Air Station New River, and to all members of the Department Of Defense who selflessly protect and defend the country we love,” said executive producer Mark Schwahn.  “We’re appreciative not only to the artists who are donating their time and talents, but also to the USO and the military personnel who have worked with us to make this event a reality.”

“We are looking forward to having this unique event offer an opportunity for the Marines and families to have some fun while also building morale as they enjoy the concert and experience the filming of a television show,” said Col. Darrell Thacker, Jr., Commanding Officer of Marine Corps Air Station New River.

Now in its sixth season, ONE TREE HILL, which airs on Mondays (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET), has offered its fans many unique opportunities to interact with its characters and their storylines outside of traditional television viewing, including the “One Tree Hill Concert Tour” in 2005 and “Road Trip to Honey Grove, Texas” in 2007.  The series was created by Mark Schwahn and is executive produced by Schwahn, Joe Davola, Greg Prange, Mike Tollin and Brian Robbins.  ONE TREE HILL is a Mastermind Laboratories and Tollin/Robbins Production in association with Warner Bros. Television.

THE CW’S FASHIONS AN EARLIER PREMIERE DATE FOR NEW REALITY COMPETITION “STYLISTA” ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 22 AT 9:00 PM

The CW Network announced today that the series premiere of its new high fashion reality competition “Stylista,” from the producers of “America’s Next Top Model” and “Project Runway,” is moving to Wednesday, October 22 (9:00-10:00p.m. ET), a week earlier than previously announced.

If “The Devil Wears Prada” were a reality show, it would be “Stylista.” Eleven aspiring fashion enthusiasts vie for a much-coveted editorial job with Elle magazine. They work as assistants to Elle’s Fashion News Director, Anne Slowey, a demanding but well-respected fashion icon. The competitors carry out an assistant task and a fashion editorial assignment in each episode.

Each week, in consultation with Elle’s Creative Director, Joe Zee, Anne fires one person, until the last assistant standing gets “promoted” to the coveted real-life job opportunity. The grand prize includes a paid editorial position at Elle magazine, a paid lease on a great apartment in Manhattan, and a clothing allowance at H&M, all for one year, valued at $100,000.

“Stylista” is from 10 by 10 Entertainment, Inc. and Bankable Incorporated in association with Magic Molehill Productions, Inc. with executive producers Tyra Banks, Ken Mok, Eli Holzman, Desiree Gruber and Jane Cha.
