On the season finale of FARMER WANTS A WIFE farmer Matt Neustadt made his final decision, choosing between two city girls to pick his choice for a wife. Having narrowed down the field to Christa, a personal assistant from Cincinnati, and Brooke, a marketing representative from Dallas, made announced his choice with a banner flying from a plane, a banner that read “Matt Loves Brooke.”
During the finale, Matt took each girl on a private date; an ATV ride with Brooke and a horse and carriage ride with Christa. Though Brooke struggled to reveal her feelings to Matt, Christa remained confident. It was Brooke, however, who Matt chose in front of the entire town,
FARMER WANTS A WIFE took ten women out of the comfort zone of their city lives and brought them to the wholesome world of a modern-day farmer. All the action took place in the farmer’s hometown in rural Missouri. The ladies tried to impress him with their heart and their newfound love of the country life, or risk being sent back to the city. They faced the realities of life and work on a farm – driving a tractor, taking care of very large farm animals, sewing quilts and attending bingo night. Through a series of challenges, group activities, shocking eliminations and cozy dates, the uptown women saw how they match up with a down-home guy on the path to true love.
