BEAUTY AND THE GEEK IS BACK
THE HIT REALITY SHOW RETURNS FOR A FOURTH SEASON… WITH A TWIST
From the producing team of Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg (“Punk’d”), The CW hit reality show BEAUTY AND THE GEEK returns with an outrageously fun fourth season where the new contestants are thrown a curveball that is as shocking as it is hilarious.
The contestants expected business as usual — gorgeous but academically impaired women pairing with brilliant but socially challenged men to test intellect and social skills for a chance to win the $250,000 grand prize. But in their first days, they learn that they’ll have to compete against one pair that’s the opposite – a hot guy and a geeky girl – which immediately throws the rest of the house into turmoil. How will the geeks take to a jock in their midst? Will the beauties try to give a makeover to the geeky girl?
Among the new challenges, the geeks will perform an autobiographical rap in a nightclub and participate in the ultimate social test: the competition for Prom King. The beauties will delve into today’s hot topics for the first-ever American Beauty Debate and go back to basics when they find themselves serving as a substitute teacher for a third-grade class. Each of the previous seasons resulted in an unlikely romantic connection between a beauty and a geek. But what happens when one hot guy and one geeky girl get in on the action?
During each competition, the geek tries to pass brains on to the beauty, while the beauty helps the geek overcome social awkwardness. At the end of the 13-week series, each contestant comes out a changed person, and one couple will walk away with a quarter of a million dollars.
BEAUTY AND THE GEEK is from fox21 and is produced by Katalyst Films and 3 Ball Productions with executive producers Ashton Kutcher & Jason Goldberg (“Guess Who,” “Punk’d”), Nick Santora (“Prison Break,” “The Sopranos”), J.D. Roth (“The Biggest Loser,” “For Love or Money”) and Todd A. Nelson (“The Biggest Loser,” “For Love or Money”).
STARS OF THE CW VISIT SAN DIEGO COMIC CON
CAST MEMBERS OF REAPER, SMALLVILLE, AND SUPERNATURAL DISCUSS THE NEW SEASONS OF THEIR SHOWS
Comic Con International, the world’s largest comic book convention, was held this July in San Diego, and the stars of The CW were on hand to meet the fans, represent their shows, and talk about what’s in store for the new season.
Director Kevin Smith, who helmed the pilot of Reaper, led a panel discussion and a screening of the show. The CW’s new series follows a young man who discovers that his parents made a deal with the devil, and that he must now serve as Satan’s bounty hunter, tracking down souls that have escaped from hell. Star Missy Peregrym was also in San Diego to offer her take on the show, and Ray Wise explained why he calls Reaper a horro-thrillo-rademy. Watch the video now: http://www.cwtv.com/video/?d=reaper-05
Erica Durance attended Comic Con to talk about the coming season of Smallville and the future of her character Lois Lane, which includes a position at a certain Metropolis newspaper. Durance’s new co-star Laura Vandervoort joins the cast this season as Clark Kent’s Kryptonian cousin Kara, better known as Supergirl. Vandervoort visited the Con and offered her thoughts on what changes her character’s introduction will bring to the series. Watch the video now: http://cwtv.com/video?vid=330
Supernatural Executive Producer Eric Kripke visited San Diego and promised that Season Three of his series would be the “biggest and most thrilling season yet,” while star Jensen Ackles discussed how his character will be affected by the deadly deal he made at the end of last season. KEVIN FEDERLINE TO GUEST STAR ON THE CW’s HIT DRAMA “ONE TREE HILL”
Kevin Federline will guest star on The CW’s hit drama ONE TREE HILL, as Jason, the cocky, enigmatic frontman for a seminal rock band from the fictional town of Tree Hill, North Carolina. Federline will appear in a multi-episode arc of the show, which returns midseason on The CW.
ONE TREE HILL clearly benefited from the creation of The CW. Paired with the hit AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL on Wednesdays last season, ONE TREE HILL saw dramatic year to year growth in the target demographics of adults 18-34 (19%) and women 18-34 (22%).
ONE TREE HILL was created by Mark Schwahn and is executive produced by Schwahn, Mike Tollin, Brian Robbins and Joe Davola. ONE TREE HILL is a Tollin/Robbins Production in association with Warner Bros. Television.
SUPERGIRL FLIES INTO SMALLVILLE IN FALL 2007

Look, up in the sky: it’s a bird, it’s a plane! It’s…Supergirl! This fall, Supergirl will be joining the lineup of burgeoning superheroes and villains in SMALLVILLE. Supergirl is the latest DC Comics character to join the series that has previously welcomed Martian Manhunter, The Green Arrow, The Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg and Brainiac.

Laura Vandervoort (The Lookout, “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”) has been cast as Kara – Clark’s (Tom Welling)
19-year-old cousin.
On SMALLVILLE, the seventh season premiere kicks off with the arrival of Supergirl. She was born on Krypton and is the daughter of Zor-El, Jor-El’s brother. Kara possesses all of Clark’s powers and one he doesn’t yet have – she can fly! Kara also has a strong, rebellious streak that puts her at odds with Clark, and puts her onto Lex’s (Michael Rosenbaum) radar. In addition, she takes a romantic interest in Jimmy Olsen (Aaron Ashmore).
Al Gough and Miles Millar serve as executive producers, along with Ken Horton, Kelly Souders & Brian Peterson, Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer, James Marshall, Mike Tollin, Brian Robbins and Joe Davola. The series is produced by Tollin/Robbins Productions, Millar/Gough Ink and Warner Bros. Television. SUPERMAN was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Schuster.
