Gilmore Girls Series Finale

Joint statement from The CW and Warner Bros. Television regarding “Gilmore Girls”

GILMORE GIRLS

“Announcing the final season of ‘Gilmore Girls’ is truly a sad moment for everyone at The CW and Warner Bros. Television. This series helped define a network and created a fantastic, storybook world featuring some of television’s most memorable, lovable characters.

We thank Amy Sherman-Palladino, Dan Palladino, Dave Rosenthal, the amazing cast led by Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel as well as the producers, writers and crew for giving us this delightful gem for the past seven years.

We would also like to thank the critics and ‘Gilmore’ fans for their passionate support and promise to give this series the send off it deserves.”

GILMORE GIRLS finale airs Tuesday May 15 on The CW at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

“HIDDEN PALMS” PREMIERES

Coming-Of-Age Drama from Executive Producers Kevin Williamson and Scott Winant Focuses on a Mystery in Steamy Palm Springs

April 3, 2007 (Burbank, California) The CW’s mysterious new one-hour drama “Hidden Palms” will debut on Wednesday, May 30 (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET). The announcement was made today by Dawn Ostroff, President, Entertainment, The CW.

Multi-generational “Hidden Palms” focuses on Johnny Miller (Taylor Handley, “The O.C.”), a teen who is struggling to come to terms with two tragedies in the strange and artificial atmosphere of Palm Springs. In addition to Handley, “Hidden Palms” features a star-studded ensemble cast including “NYPD Blue” veterans Gail O’Grady and Sharon Lawrence, D.W. Moffett (“Traffic”), and fresh faces such as Amber Heard (“Alpha Dog”), Michael Cassidy (“The O.C.”), Ellary Porterfield (“The Prizewinner of Defiance, Ohio”) and Tessa Thompson (“Veronica Mars”).
The new series will serve as the lead-in for this season’s final three original episodes of the hit drama “One Tree Hill,” including that show’s season finale on Wednesday, June 13 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET).

“Hidden Palms” is a Lionsgate Television production in association with Outerbanks Entertainment with executive producers Kevin Williamson (“Dawson’s Creek,” “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” “Scream 1, 2 and 3″) and Scott Winant “Huff,” “My So-Called Life”).
